Illegal trade in public transport can be reported through the "Moscow Helper"

The «Moscow Helper» is five years old. With the help of which residents of the capital can record parking rules violations, the application began working in 2015. During this time, the functionality of the «Moscow Helper» has grown significantly. So, in 2020, the application can report breakdowns at city bike rental stations and shared bicycles malfunctions.

For the fifth anniversary, the application received an update of 3.0. Now it can be used to report illegal trade on the street, in public transport, and overground/underground passages.

When applying, the application will automatically determine the address and mark the map, while the user has to describe the problem and take a photo briefly.

All fixations are processed and transferred to the executive authorities and organizations responsible for maintaining the order. The function will also be able to identify foci of violations.

The «Moscow Helper» is a unique application that allows citizens to report traffic rules violations related to parking. With the applications help, it became possible to improve road safety, improve urban surface transport, and increase the road networks capacity. Currently, 700 thousand people are using the application. For each violation recorded, points are awarded, which can be exchanged for parking fees, transport trips, tickets for events, and more.

In May 2020, the «Moscow Helper» entered the top of the most useful solutions to combat the spread of COVID-19 in the world. It took the 12th place in the 704 commercial and government applications, and the third among the metropolitan solutions. The application received a special mark on the coronavirus innovation map. Thanks to the «Moscow Helper,» it became possible to quickly check whether drivers and passengers had a digital pass. After the end of the quarantine, the access control was canceled, and the users were asked to rate the load of city parks in an application to warn people about crowds in recreation areas.
