Moscow Parking Is 8 Years Old: How Has the City Changed?
Even 8-10 years ago, parking in Moscow was often chaotic. Drivers violated the rules of parking, got up second and sometimes third row and occupied the sidewalks. It caused congestion and even provoked accidents.
Moscow Parking has been operating since the end of 2012. During this time, parking became organized, the number of violations decreased, the turnover of parking spaces increased by 4 times, which allows local residents to find places near their houses faster, the travel time of emergency services was reduced, and a safe and favorable environment for pedestrians, public transport and motorists was created.
