Currently, the 29 cameras operating to monitor this violation. The list of all complexes with the coordinates of their installation is available in the public domain on the Unified Transport Portal.
«For a long time, distracted driving and non-use of seat belts on the roads of Moscow was not controlled, although both violations directly affected road safety. Thus, the risk of getting into an accident is 4 times higher when talking on the phone while driving, and if the driver reads or writes a message then is 20 times higher. The use of belts in a car is a mandatory safety measure for all people in the car. According to the World Health Organization, the use of belts reduces the risk of death among those sitting in the front seats by 45-50% and reduces the risk by 25% death and serious injuries for rear seat passengers », - said Yegor Chernov.
