Moscow Metro installs Russian Post parcel lockers
On June 9, the first parcel locker of the Russian Post was installed in Moscow Metro in the passage to Pushkinskaya station.
According to the Department of Transport, 90 post boxes of Russian Post are planned to be installed in 69 station passages of Moscow Metro by the end of the summer of 2021. Post box will allow passengers of Moscow Metro to pick up their parcels on the way to their home or work.
In March, Moscow Metro held a closed auction for the right to place lockers at stations. It is not only convenient services for passengers but also a way to increase incomes that will go to the development of Moscow Metro, similarly to vending machines and ATMs.
