Since July 2, Moscow’s Passenger Mobility Centre is operating on tram network. Low-mobility passengers can receive assistance on 12 routes chosen jointly with All-Russian Society of the Disabled. The chosen routes are especially in demand among people with disabilities since they run along important social objects.
At the moment, the Passenger Mobility Centre operates on 38 on-ground routes, the figure will increase to 76 by the end of the year. In total, agents of the Centre have provided assistance tomore than 1.1 thousand passengers of on-surface transport.
The Passenger Mobility Centre of Moscow Metro was foundedin 2013 to provide low-mobility passengers with support on the infrastructure of the metro, MCC and MCD. Since November 2020, the Center has been operating on on-ground transport as well. More than 1 million passengers have already used the service.
