The Department of Transport and Road Infrastructure Development of Moscow has opened the DOP Digital Art Festival devoted to the anniversary of the city of Moscow. New technologies are rapidly taking over our lives and becoming familiar. The future has already come, you can see it not only when you are passing by the Moscow City by the Moscow Central Circle train, but also when you are admiring the digital artwork during your city trips and saving augmented reality images in your phone.

The DOP festival presents two types of digital art: video art, which you can watch on the giant media facade of Moscow Central Diameters Pavillion at the Kyevskaya station of the Moscow Metro and augmented reality works, which are located inthe open air at the most gorgeous metro stations – KrasnyeVorota, Arbatskaya (Line 4), Lybyanka, Chistye Prudy, Kropotkinskaya, Novokuznezkaya, Kyevskaya and on the Northern River Terminal of Moscow.

In the metro the audience can see not copies, but the real live art, which was created by artists using computer technologies. Over the past two years, this art form has become the most relevant and discussed all over the world. Digital art festivals are the trendiest and most innovative events in New York, Paris, London and now in Moscow Transport.

Artists Aristarkh Chernyshev, Maxim Svishchev, Artur Kond, Denis Rossiev, Roman Bobkov, Kirill Rave, Andrey Berger, Oleg Soroko, Eduard Hayman, and the Synticate art group are regular participants in exhibitions and festivals of modern art. They have thousands of followers on Instagrams
