Last month the Government of Moscow has announced free interchanges on surface  transport in the Moscow. Nowadays, interchanges from one vehicle to another without paying have become possible for those who has the Troika transport card. To use the free transfer passenger should connect the Troika card with the passenger's personal account in the Moscow Metro mobile application (https://www.mosmetro.ru/app/) or on the website of the Moscow Metro. It is possible to make as many interchanges as is necessary within 90 minutes from the beginning of the trip. 

This innovation has already received a huge response by the passengers. More than 96% of people like free interchanges, according to the statistics presented on the Active citizen portal. According to the latest datum, more than 2 million free interchanges on Moscow surface transport has been made in a month.

The Moscow Department of Transport announced that this service is extremely profitable for passengers who make interchanges on regular basis. It enables to save about 11 thousand rubles a year. It gives an opportunity to choose the most convenient route without thinking about the price of the ticket.
