The 2021 results of the city bike sharing in Moscow

There are already snowdrifts on the street, and we remember the warm days when it was possible to ride a bike around Moscow. The city bike sharing is closed,the stations have stopped working for the winter period. In winter, we actively prepare stations and bikes for the new season - we repair bikes and check stations.

The 2021 season has shown that bicycles are a full-fledged alternative transport. Moscow citizens went to work, rode around the city, got home and rode to have lunch from the office on city bikes.

This season we have launched per-minute rental rate. The longest ride that was made by bike is 266.5 km long, it has took 8 hours. The most active user has made 2,093 rides during the season. 

«This season, Moscow citizens and guests of the city have made 5 million trips. Bicycles are a full-fledged transport, including couriers, volunteers and citizens of remote neighborhoods. This year we have given priority to the development of electric bike sharing — 90% of new stations are electric. Next year we plan to set up 100 more electric stations and buy 1,000 electric bicycles» — said Maksim Liksutov, the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport.
