The Moscow Metro exhibits one of its latest Moskva-2020 trains in the centre of Moscow in the framework of the Moscow City Day that will be celebrated on 10-11 September. The real train was transported from the Solntsevo depot to TverskayaStreet, one of the main streets of Moscow. The installation includes real tracks and a conductor rail.
Citizens will have a chance to visit the control cabin, learn more about the train from the guide and look at elements of the train that are usually hidden from passengers’ eyes. The train is available for visitors from 10 AM to 10 PM on Saturday and from 10 AM to 8 PM on Sunday.
On behalf of the Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin, we are preparing a big holiday programme, which will be rememberedby Moscow citizens and visitors. On Tverskaya Street, we have installed a real Moskva-2020 car, in which everyone can feel like a train driver - it has never been done anywhere else in the world. Visitors can also enjoy an exhibition of the Moscow Metro employees uniforms of different years. Also, the Music in Metro project artists will perform on Tverskaya. We invite everyone to celebrate the holiday with us, - Maksim Liksutov, the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport
