Moscow recognized as the world car-sharing leader
The former leader, Tokyo, came second with a fleet of just over 20 000 cars, while in Beijing and Shanghai there have less than 20 000 shared cars each.
More than 50% of the Moscow car-sharing market is held by Yandex.Drive. The top three leaders also include Delimobil and BelkaCar. To date, six more operator companies provide similar services.
At the same time, last year Moscow residents used car-sharing service more than 36 million times, which is 1,5 times more than in 2018.
Most often, car sharing is used for trips to airports and large shopping centers.
